60 helpers in action – farm buildings burned down in Kirchbach

In Kirchbach in the south-east of Styria, a farm building burned down completely on Saturday. 60 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the flames. Significant property damage could not be prevented.

For reasons that have not yet been clarified, a fire broke out in the garage area, which quickly spread to the entire farm building. When the Kirchbach volunteer fire brigade and four other fire brigades arrived at the scene around 9 a.m. to tame the flames, the house was already fully engulfed in fire. Finally, a total of 60 firefighters tried to put out the fire with all their might, but in the end they had to burn the building down in a controlled manner permit. With the help of a drone, the last embers were found. After hours of effort, the “fire out” was given around 3 p.m. Luckily, no one got hurt.
