61-year-old injured – fell from stable roof while clearing snow

At least indirectly, the capricious weather in Tyrol claimed an injured victim: In Fließ in the Oberland, a 61-year-old wanted to clear the snow from a stable roof before Christmas when the unexpected suddenly happened.

The accident at work occurred in the municipality of Fließ at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday: a 61-year-old local man was busy clearing snow on the roof of a stable. Meanwhile, the masses of snow suddenly cleared and took the 61-year-old with them. He fell around six to seven meters from the roof onto the entrance area below and came to rest there. Rescue by helicopter After initial treatment was given, he was flown to the hospital in Zams in the emergency helicopter. The 61-year-old Austrian suffered significant injuries as a result of the incident.
