Young musicians took part in blackbird singing in Bischofshofen on Saturday evening. The focus of the 62nd edition of the traditional event was on young talent.
“This year we wanted to show that folk music is evolving. The dance music scene in particular is currently being revitalized by many young groups,” said the musical director of Amselsingen, Klaus Vinatzer. Already at the entrance to the Hermann-Wielandner-Halle in Bischofshofen, visitors were welcomed by young musicians from Pongau on Saturday evening. The Musikum students got the numerous guests in the mood for a musical evening – in the truest sense of the word. This year the audience was even allowed to sing along loudly.
