64 and 65 years old – Elderly men as drug dealers: 3.5 years in prison

A total of 9.5 kilos of cannabis were harvested and sold by two people from Salzburg (64.65). At least one jury panel of the Salzburg regional court was convinced of this on Monday and made a guilty verdict.

The main accused only partially confessed. For the duo, who are said to have operated two indoor plantations in Salzburg in a professional manner, there was no legally binding three and a half years in prison. The first accused, who had 19 previous convictions, is also said to have smuggled cocaine from the Netherlands to Austria. In addition, 700 ecstasy tablets were found on him. The second accused was the boss of an association that provided sick people with cannabis products. For two other defendants, there were lower penalties for aiding – they are said to have harvested, repotted and cleaned.
