JAKARTA, January 10 (Reuters) –
A 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia’s Tanimbar Islands archipelago on Tuesday, injuring one person and causing property damage.
Authorities have lifted a tsunami warning triggered after the powerful earthquake, felt in parts of northern Australia.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) recorded a magnitude of 7.6, after initially reporting a magnitude of 7.7. (Report Ananda Teresia, Gayatri Suroyo and Akanksha Khush; French version Camille Raynaud)
