Whether at work, at parties or in daycare: No matter what age, it's always the same people who stand out: namely, the loud ones. Introverts are just as great!

Advertising, television and the like suggest that you should attract attention if you want to be successful in life – from the quiet wallflower to the number one it girl in high school, that is the goal of every quiet contemporary, at least if you believe the film industry. It is precisely the quiet people among us who have a lot more to offer than you think you see at first glance, while behind the facade of the loud knockers there is sometimes a yawning emptiness, from which a lot of extrovertedness tries to distract.

And that's exactly why it is worth taking a second look at the introverted people around us. Because:

1. Introverts are honest and loyal

Each of us should have at least one introvert as a friend. Because when the going gets tough, we can be sure to have a reliable and honest companion by our side. At the beginning you usually have to thaw it first, but if the ice is broken, nothing stands in the way of a long friendship!

2. You can keep a secret to yourself

You don't have to worry with them: your secrets are safe with introverts.

3. They are not sisters of blasphemy

Introverts are far too honest to be nasty behind your back. Gossip is just not her thing.

4. Understatement in its purest form

Usually introverts don't peddle their opinions. Usually they are rather silent observers. But when they say something, it has a hand and foot. Instead of long rambling, they quickly get to the point. Otherwise they'd rather keep their mouths shut than make pointless speeches.

5. Busy bees

Introverts are not easily distracted, they work very conscientiously and independently. And even if they prefer to work alone than in a team, they are a reliable constant that you can rely on in every situation.

4. Think first, then act

Blurting out something prematurely, it won't happen to them. Instead, people think first and then act. Emotional outbursts cannot be expected from introverted people.

7. You won't miss a thing

Observation is their supreme discipline. Instead of being the center of attention, they prefer to look at a lot from a distance. So if you want to find out about others, ask your introverted friend! This also applies to you, by the way: If you want to hide something from them, it will be quite a difficult business.
