7 reasons why July birthday kids are so special

No exaggeration: July children are just great. And our author doesn’t just claim that because she is one herself. She also has (more or less scientific) evidence.
1. because they are born with an extra helping of sun
A bright blue sky, blooming flowers, lush green on the trees, warm: this is what a day in July looks like when you want to be born. The world is usually at its best in July. Perfect conditions for a good start into a good life with a sunny disposition.
2. Because they are very helpful and support others
Anyone born in July is either of the zodiac sign Cancer (06/22 – 07/22) or Leo (07/23 – 08/23).
Cancers are incredibly empathetic people who put friends and family first. For the people who let cancers in their hearts, they would do anything. They are also humble and helpful. Let’s ignore the fact that they can also be very irritable and jealous.
Löw: inside are considered headstrong, but are extremely cheerful and optimistic. You are blessed with a great deal of self-confidence and passion. It’s incredibly admirable and inspiring, but it can also be a little exhausting at times. But that makes up for their commitment to others.

July children are spoiled by the weather, love mild summer evenings, are active and always on the move. Steal horses, water fights, ice cream meals? The result: Babies born in the summer months of June, July and August usually have a higher birth weight and grow later than autumn and winter babies. In addition, July girls reach puberty later on average. Both factors have a positive effect on health again. The researchers suspect the reasons for this can be found in the vitamin D balance of expectant mothers. As they get more sun at the end of their pregnancy, they produce more vitamin D, which in turn also strengthens the immune system of the baby in the womb. In addition, the many nasty viruses do not have a high season in the summer months and thus both newborns and expectant mothers are less exposed to pathogens.
6. Because they are the greatest optimists
July children are considered to be particularly optimistic and cheerful, like one Study by the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology found out. In addition, they are less prone to depression, which the researchers also explain with the positive influence of sunlight in summer.
7. Because they are often left-handed
Only about 15 percent of all people are left-handed. July birthday children are most likely to be among the 15 percent. The reason for this is not yet entirely clear. Researchers suspect it could be related to seasonal factors such as the lower incidence of infectious agents.
