Cleaning is clearly not the most fun activity in the world, but there is even worse, doing the laundry. Twice a week (or when we run out of clean panties) we manage to motivate ourselves but frankly we would have been fine.
When we think that we make about 200 machines a year (yes, we did the math) it makes us want to cry. No, but think about all that wasted precious time! Especially since we are always full of small galleys that put our nerves in ball. In fact, we made a selection of our special laundry flops.
1. The drama of the lonely sock
It’s good, we washed, dried, folded and ironed everything, but there you have it, a disaster has happened. An orphan sock remained on our arms and its twin was missing. But where has she gone?
2. We forgot a red garment in a white machine
And inevitably there was our favorite t-shirt in the heap. Now it is a charming color of toilet paper and we are quite disgusted.
3. We left a tissue in a pair of jeans
So that’s really the loose one. Our whole machine is covered with tiny white particles and we know that we are going to have a crazy “peeling” evening. Yeh.

… Even worse, spreading a laundry of socks!
5. Noticing that we have forgotten something when the machine is started
We were so loaded under the pile of dirty laundry that panties managed to escape. By the time we noticed it, the machine had already started. What can that swell us!
6. Our favorite sweater shrunk in the wash
Oops, we forgot to read the label and we washed it at 40 ° C. We hold back very tightly so as not to cry …
7. We feel like we’re never going to get out of this
And young parents know very well what we are talking about. The laundry seems to accumulate and despite all our good will we have the impression that the pile will never come down.
8. Realize (once again) that carrot stains are very stubborn
Or those of chocolate, grass or blueberry … It is not always enough to throw a laundry with your child’s clothes for the laundry to come out like new! A tip for not having to do 5 laundry in a row: put in a bag aside your child’s clothes that will require a little pre-wash by hand or with a stain remover before washing. You can then add them to the rest of the laundry and start your machine, preferably using a specific detergent for babies such as Le Chat Bébé, specially designed for delicate skin.
A single machine should be enough for an impeccable laundry … and no more unpleasant surprises when hanging out!
