85 instead of 45 km / h – fellow coiffed up moped: license plate removed

During the night on Sunday night, during a checkpoint on the Alpenstrasse in the city of Salzburg, the Salzburg police pulled a few razors and a moped driver from traffic that had illegally made his vehicle faster.

The officers actually checked the speed of the drivers on the Alpine road on Saturday evening, but a moped driver caught the police’s eye. He was stopped and checked. The officials provided Forbidden changes to the exhaust system, whereupon they put the moped on the mobile roller dynamometer.

The measurement resulted in a blatant excess of the design speed of 85 km / h (instead of the permitted 45 km / h). The license plate and registration were removed from the 16-year-old driver on site and the boy from Salzburg was forbidden to continue driving. He must now expect a demonstration in front of the vehicle inspection center of the state of Salzburg.

The officers also found some overruns at the speed controls: In the Alpine Road with a maximum speed of 70 km / h and in the Salzburger Straße with a maximum speed of 50 km / h, there were 26 violations that were displayed. The highest measured speed was 105 km / h on Alpenstrasse and 87 km / h on Salzburger Strasse.
