99ers strike – Italian striker goes in Graz for goals

Summer is just getting started outside, but the next ice age is sure to come. In any case, the Graz99ers are preparing for the new season, presenting a new attacker for Johan Pennerborn’s squad. Fans can mark the first dates because the schedule has become official.

The 99ers hockey roster is taking shape. The Grazers strike this time in the league and sign top scorer Anthony Salinitri from Asiago. The 25-year-old had a strong first season in the ICE Hockey League in 2022-23, recording 17 goals and 28 assists in 48 games. The Canadian, who also has Italian citizenship, presented himself as a goal threat in the Canadian OHL in previous years. The bare numbers: In 346 games, the attacker recorded 139 goals and 132 assists. 2nd round (September 17th): Salzburg (away); 3rd round (September 22nd): Laibach (heim); 4th round: no play; 5th round (September 26th): Fehervar (away). The other legionnaires have not yet released the 99ers. According to “Krone” information, the players Daniel Viksten, Ludvig Jardeskog and Taylor Matson should already be fixed. The extension of defender Gustav Bouramman should already be on track. Christian Engstrand’s successor in the goalie position could be a Norwegian.
