Here and there
Three summer trends that immediately give you that holiday feeling
Vacation this year? A difficult subject. We’ll tell you how you can create a holiday mood at home too.
The wanderlust has reached its peak for many of us. What helps best with acute longing for the beach are items of clothing that put us in a good mood immediately; With whom we may have already spent one or the other vacation and thus let old memories germinate.
But in addition to mementos, new trends are also moving into our wardrobes, which also have promising summer feeling potential. We’ll tell you what these are here.
Airy and light: garments made of mesh
There is probably no other material that screams for summer like net. Whether as an accessory or as a piece of clothing: Its airy properties are perfect for hot days. We combine shirts or slip dresses made of mesh with tight basic tops and open-toe shoes. A look from the “Ready to Wear” collection of the luxury label Hèrmes provides us with beautiful styling inspiration. If the all-over look is a bit too daring for you, try accessories with mesh details first: we wear hats or bags with mesh elements with maxi dresses or Bermuda shorts – a deluxe summer feeling, we promise!
Close to the Orient: paisley patterns
We have seldom been dressed so quickly and so well: The paisley pattern has a strong effect and therefore prefers to be the focus of attention alone. And that’s a good thing, because the iconic, colorful, ornamental leaf print works best with simple accessories and sandals made from natural materials. Long, fluttering maxi dresses in the pattern create the ultimate holiday mood – we love!
A pearl of fashion: shell motifs
A trend that literally brings the sea into our closets: items of clothing or accessories with coral prints or decorative starfish are right at the top of our summer wishlist. Best of all: Similar to a real coral reef, things can be colorful when it comes to marine motifs. So we can safely wear the starfish earrings with the shell-shaped bag. We prefer to combine light colors so that the it pieces come out particularly well. Our all-time classic for that SOS holiday feeling is and will remain the shell necklace this year too.
