On Thursday, Prince William and Prince Harry will unveil a statue of their mother Diana. Harry has now landed in London.

Prince Harry (36) is back in England. According to British media reports, he landed in his former home in London around noon. It is Harry’s first visit to Great Britain since the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip (1921-2021) in April. The reason for the current trip: Together with his brother Prince William (39), Harry will unveil a statue on July 1st to honor their late mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997).

Prince Harry is said to have been brought directly to Frogmore Cottage after landing, as among other things the “Daily Mail” writes. According to the Corona statutes, he should spend five days in quarantine there. Normally, he would have to be in isolation for ten days, but he could have two tests carried out and, if the results were negative, leave the house on the fifth day.

Diana would have celebrated her 60th birthday

Princess Diana would have turned 60 next Thursday. As the newspaper had previously reported, the unveiling of the statue was initially supposed to be attended by more than 100 people. However, due to Corona restrictions, only around a handful of guests were present – including close relatives. Instead, a larger ceremony should follow in September.

Duchess Meghan (39), Harry’s wife, did not come to England with them. Only a few weeks ago she had given birth to the couple’s second child. Little Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4th, while her little brother Archie celebrated his second birthday in May.
