Salmosped generated sales of the equivalent of 118 million francs in 2020, as Kuehne + Nagel announced on Friday. In total, Salmosped handled 63,000 tons of goods last year.
As is well known, Norway is one of the largest fisheries and aquaculture producers in the world. Fish exports remained strong even during the pandemic. Accordingly, there are attractive growth prospects for Salmosped’s business.
Salmosped is now part of the Kuehne + Nagel network for the transport of perishable goods. Over the past few years, Kuehne + Nagel has built up a global logistics network in this area with more than 70 stations around the world. Salmosped complements seafood transport within the segment with branches in Halifax, Vancouver (both Canada), London (UK) and Santiago de Chile. (SDA)
