(CercleFinance.com) – Warner Bros. continues its fall on the Nasdaq and drops almost 3% today after having already lost 5.7% yesterday.
Recall that yesterday, the online news site Axios reported that the CEO of Warner Bros., Davis Zaslav, had met with his counterpart at Paramount Global, Bob Bakish, ‘to discuss a possible merger’.
Information confirmed by the Wall Street Journal which understands that for the moment ‘no formal negotiations between the companies are underway’.
This potential merger could give rise to a new information and entertainment giant.
For its part, Paramount lost 1.5% yesterday and 0.7% today.
