The transition from HSBC to CCF is not so simple, particularly for clients abroad. Impossible for them to receive the SMS with their password and therefore to access their bank account. A real source of discontent. To overcome the problem, the CCF decided to put in place a workaround procedure. Explanations.
Since the afternoon of January 2, when former HSBC customers normally have access to their new CCF personal space via the application and the website, some still find themselves unable to access their bank account. And for good reason, whether via the application or the website, it is necessary to receive an SMS to finalize the first connection: an SMS that customers abroad do not receive.
A situation that generates discontent. It seems that CCF has forgotten the existence of its customers abroad! As of January 10, still no way for us to connect. The SMS with security code to connect is not sent to foreign numbers, explains a CCF MoneyVox customer. For those who live or work abroad, it is a definite worry not to be able to access their account. The question is: who should we turn to to resolve this problem?, asks another.
HSBC: what will change for customers from January 1, 2024 with the transition to CCF
Customers soon to be unlocked?
Contacted by MoneyVox, the CCF explained that the resolution time depends on foreign operators who do not all let the SMS through. In order not to penalize the customers concerned any longer, a postal letter will be sent with the interior to QR code thus making it possible to circumvent the problem of receiving the famous SMS and to finalize the first connection to the CCF personal space. An email was also sent to customers to inform them. In the absence of complete resolution of the problem, the new procedure should allow customers to access their accounts.

Furthermore, for customers residing in France who have still not been able to connect to their account, the CCF made it clear that to access for the first time their space, you must click on the blue First connection button. The Connect button is reserved for subsequent connections.
Concerning HSBC ATMs inaccessible since December, the CCF specified that all ATMs will be replaced within five months. All withdrawals moved, therefore made at the ATMs of other banks, will remain free until then.
