At the end of 2022, Bandai Namco announced his SANDLAND project intended to bring to life the work of Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) in a new light. In addition to a feature-length animated film, a video game was naturally unveiled a few months later, last June to be more precise, simply named SAND LAND. He was subsequently shown a video of gameplay and one trailer dedicated to his scenario showing us in particular the father of Beelzebubto know Satan (not to be confused with Dabra), but one detail was still missing and not the least, its release date.

It was revealed this week and will fortunately come a little after this busy start to the year. SAND LAND is in fact expected on April 26, 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) internationally, the Japanese having the right to it the day before. A new trailer shows us that this vast world will not be entirely desert, while highlighting the clashes aboard all kinds of vehicles. It also serves to introduce Annan entirely new character who is an expert in mechanics, which is pretty good. Some visuals can be found on the next page.
In the role of Beelzebub, prince of demons, accompanied by Sheriff Lao and chaperoned by Thief, players will explore the immense desert and face the royal army at the wheel of customizable vehicles. An unlikely alliance of humans and demons, their team is in search of the legendary spring, the only way to end the terrible drought that has struck the world. Together, these eclectic heroes must travel beyond the borders of Sand Land and explore unexplored territories.

In addition to that, know that it will be possible to obtain different editions, including a collector offering an articulated figurine, a bit of a shame…
