Rasmussen Reports opinion polls are well known in the United States. In a new poll, the media company asked potential US voters who they would elect to be president today. Most would not vote for 2020 victorious Joe Biden (78) again, so the result.
The US Afghanistan debacle this week led to a series of new polls on how much support the president still enjoys. If the US were to be able to choose between Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump (75) again today, they would re-elect Trump, according to the Rasmussen Reports survey.
37 percent for Biden, 43 percent for Trump
“If the next presidential election took place today, 37 percent of prospective US voters would vote for Biden. 43 percent would vote for the former President Donald Trump », so the Rasmussen questioning out of 1000 likely voters.
In another recent Rasmussen poll, voters are not buying from President Biden that he has taken over the Afghanistan problems from his previous government. 51 percent of those surveyed blame Biden for the Taliban’s takeover and the chaos in Afghanistan, 38 percent blame former President Trump.
As recently as April, Biden’s approval rate was at a high of 55.7 percent. For the first time, this value has now fallen below the 50 percent mark. (kes)
