Which stars will be on stage with Usher?
Usher appears in the famous Super Bowl halftime show, but which star guests does he bring to the stage?
From Alicia Keys to Justin Bieber to Ludacris and Lil Jon
The favorite for a guest appearance alongside the singer is probably Alicia Keys (43). Not only did the two release the duet “My Boo” around 20 years ago, sources familiar with the production of the halftime show said TMZ recently reported eyewitnesses have confirmed that Keys was seen rehearsing with Usher at the stadium in Paradise, a suburb of Las Vegas.
The US celebrity portal also reportedthat Justin Bieber (29) could also be invited by Usher. According to insiders, there were direct discussions between the two about a joint appearance. According to Page Six Bieber is currently in Las Vegas. He flew in on Saturday by private jet accompanied by Kim Kardashian (43), Khloé Kardashian (39) and Kendall Jenner (28).
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old himself seems to be indirectly announcing two other performers: Lil Jon (53) and Ludacris (46). “I’d be a fool if I said ‘Yeah!’ wouldn’t play,” Usher said “Entertainment Tonight” a few days ago. “It would be foolish to go all the way to Las Vegas – Jon’s here, Luda’s here – and say ‘Yeah!’ not to play.” The song featuring the two rappers was originally released in 2004 and is one of the singer’s big hits. In addition, Ludacris and Lil Jon will not only be there, they will also appear alongside other stars in a short film from Apple Music which has been used to promote Usher’s halftime show for a few days now.
Will Taylor Swift also perform?
According to further media reports, there has recently been speculation and wishes from fans to possibly see Taylor Swift (34) on stage alongside Usher at the 58th Super Bowl. It is almost certain that the singer will at least be in the audience, as her boyfriend Travis Kelce (34) is scheduled to play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers at the mega event. Swift was just in Japan as part of her “The Eras Tour”. but it should now are back on US soil.
In Germany, the American football spectacle can be seen on the night of February 12th from around 12:30 a.m. The halftime show should start around 1:45 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. German time.
