In Berlin-Wilmersdorf, an Afghan (29) first approached a landscape gardener in a green area on Saturday and then stabbed her with several knife wounds.
The 58-year-old woman was critically injured, the police said on Sunday. The attacker also seriously injured a 66-year-old man who wanted to help the woman with stabs in the neck. Both victims of the attack came to the hospital and had to be operated on.
