Switzerland has a new NHL legionnaire. Janis Moser has landed safely in the USA and is ready for his NHL adventure with the Arizona Coyotes. The 21-year-old doesn’t leave without saying a few touching farewell words to his loved ones beforehand.
“I was allowed to experience unforgettable moments”
“I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the defender begins his statement on Instagram. “First of all with my parents, who supported me from the start, who drove with me to the most remote ice rinks in Switzerland every Sunday morning.” He would also like to thank his home and heart club, the EHC Biel, as well as all the experienced coaches who have trained and shaped him at junior levels. Moser: “But also with everyone with whom I was able to experience unforgettable moments, from fans in the kids’ corner to players in the first team.”
Moser is very grateful for the chance to take his first steps, mistakes and experiences in professional sport. In addition, the text is aimed at his “great and entertaining teammates”, with whom he enjoyed giving the best together. At the end of his Biel career, he was even allowed to take on the role of assistant captain: “I had the opportunity to develop myself further.”
Biel thanks you for the thank you message
But now a new adventure is waiting for him – as a player in the Arizone Coyotes. «I look back on many positive memories from the past 15 years at EHC Biel-Bienne. I’m looking forward to the future but will always remain #rougeetjaune deep in my heart. “
His ex-club Biel is happy about the emotional message of thanks and gives his former protégé the following words: “We wish you all the best on your trip to the Arizona desert and will follow your further path with great interest. Once red-yellow, always red-yellow! ” (mou)
