Centre Party President Gerhard Pfister is confident that the cost-cutting initiative launched by the Centre Party will be accepted.
However, at the delegates’ meeting of the center in Ticino, he clearly rejected the SP’s premium relief initiative.
The delegates’ meeting in Arbedo (TI) was initially dominated by health policy and the upcoming federal referendums on 9 June with the two health initiatives.

The Center will also formulate its slogans for the vote on the electricity law and the biodiversity initiative. Pfister also promoted the two fairness initiatives submitted by the Center in March, which aim to eliminate disadvantages for married couples in terms of AHV and direct federal taxes compared to unmarried couples.
In his analysis of the vote on the 13th AHV pension, the center-right leader strongly criticized the FDP and SVP. Putting the financing issue on the back burner is not a solution, said Pfister.
