The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival ended this Saturday, May 25. At the end of twelve days of cinematic frenzy, the jury, chaired by Greta Gerwig, delivered its verdict. The prestigious Palme d’Or award was given to Sean Baker for his film Anora which tells the journey of a sex worker between New York and Las Vegas. Another nice surprise: Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana, Adriana Paz and Karla Sofía Gascón together won the Best Actress Award for their role in Emilia Perez by Jacques Audiard. A police musical comedy that takes place within the Mexican cartels, against the backdrop of transgender transition.
The quartet captivated the audience when they climbed the steps last Saturday, May 18. As soon as they arrived, the actresses let the flashes crackle. Selena Gomez turned heads in an Old Hollywood-style outfit. She looked irresistible in a tight black dress with a white reverse neckline, by Saint Laurent. For her part, Zoe Saldana appeared in a magnificent strapless dress from the label, highlighting her athletic figure and capturing French chic. An outfit consisting of a long strapless black dress decorated with a pink train tied at the waist, as well as a bow at the level of her knees. Transgender actress Karla Sofía Gascón and Adriana Paz, also magnificent, had chosen slightly more sober black dresses, sure values for a chic and elegant appearance. During this climb of the steps, they were not the only ones to captivate the red carpet, because Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Carla Bruni and Rachida Dati all competed in elegance.
