A 19-year-old Tyrolean was particularly in a hurry in Radfeld on Saturday: The young man sped past a car at 168 km / h – although only speed 70 was allowed and he should not have overtaken at all. The local was even too fast for the police. Nevertheless, he is now rid of the test driver’s license.
A police patrol carried out speed controls on the B171 near Radfeld on Saturday. The officials were amazed when suddenly a car was measured at a whopping 168 km / h. The driver overtook another car in the area of an intersection, where a speed limit of 70 km / h and no overtaking was prescribed.

“Since the car continued to increase its speed, the attempt to stop failed,” said the police. Contacting the registered owner, a 19-year-old Austrian who still has a test driver’s license, revealed that he had driven the car. He came to the Kramsach police station on his own, where his driver’s license was temporarily confiscated.
