Ikai is intended to be a very classic psychological horror game where you will play as Naoko, a young priestess who has remained at the sanctuary while her uncle, also a priest, has gone to the village to investigate the appearance of ‘a demon. Except that the demon in question has precisely chosen the sanctuary to pass from the underworld to ours, preceded by a whole cohort of monsters and ghosts that will have to be fought by freeing their souls in pain.
As you can imagine, Naoko is unable to defend herself, but this apparent vulnerability will of course be counterbalanced by her judgment, or rather ours: it will thus be a question of solving puzzles to neutralize the various entities wandering in the sanctuary, while exploring it while remaining as quiet as possible.
