Swedish furniture giant IKEA has announced that a certain batch of its ‘Huvudroll’ vegetable ball has had to be recalled. There is a risk that plastic particles are in it, according to the group.
Food recall at IKEA: The group has announced that plastic parts from a defective production line have found their way into the product “Huvudroll vegetable balls 1000 g, frozen”. The margin with the best before date October 26, 2022 is affected.

IKEA recalls vegetable balls – customers can get money back even without a receipt
All customers who bought the vegetable balls can return them to any IKEA store for a full refund. A proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
“IKEA wants to offer its customers products that they can trust and that are manufactured in a responsible manner – without compromising on food safety or quality,” the company says.
