The US Coast Guard is searching for a missing plane with eight people on board off the coast of North Carolina. An air traffic controller for the US armed forces reported that the machine seemed uncontrolled and then disappeared from the radar screen, the Coast Guard said.
Since Sunday evening, helpers have been looking for the missing people around six and a half kilometers east of the coast with boats and from the air. The plane that disappeared was a single-engine Pilatus PC-12. (SDA)
