A few months ago, Pierre Arditi declared that they did not appreciate the current mix of genres between politics and entertainment. In an exclusive interview granted in our columns, the actor gave his point of view on the presidential campaign, and did not hide his concern.
Pierre Arditi doesn’t have his tongue in his pocket. In October 2021, when he was invited on the set ofWe are live on France 2, the actor had pushed a rant at the time, the political class and its communication. “They are not asked to go on television shows. They are asked to solve problems so that men and women get better or better.”he had estimated before adding: “It exasperates me to the last degree, I’m sick of it! We’ll get the heroes we deserve. We will end up creating generations that will end up taking a commercial for a Racine tragedy”.
As an example, Pierre Arditi had notably cited Emmanuel Macron, who had sought the help of Youtubers McFly and Carlito during the health crisis, before inviting them to the Élysée. “It saddens me. I think he doesn’t need that (…) I may be an old fart, I claim it”had regretted the 77-year-old actor.
A “strange” presidential campaign for Pierre Arditi
While he will be starring in the mini-series What Pauline does not tell youbroadcast from this Wednesday, March 9 on France 2, and in which he embodies an apparently reassuring patriarch who will gradually show disturbing contours, Pierre Arditi has agreed to grant a exclusive interview with Télé Star this Monday, February 28. An interview in which he once again spoke about politics and gave his views on the presidential campaign. “The least we can say is that it is strange. What worries me are all these extremes coming to the fore and parties disappearing. Teverything that makes the left falls into oblivion. It disturbs me and saddens me a lot”he confided in our columns
