(Boursier.com) — Group turnover Hopscotch reached 45.3 million euros in the first quarter, up +83% compared to last year. Correlatively, the gross margin increased by +46.5% to 16.7 million euros.
The discrepancy comes from the mix of activities in favor of the production and events professions which generate a higher turnover than the consulting professions. Events had remained very low last year, but have returned to a more usual level today.
Event activities therefore continue to resume with the improvement of the health situation and the adaptation to new constraints. They carry the majority of the growth in the 1st quarter of 2022. The other activities are rather stable, with in particular the Consulting which had progressed during the periods of confinement and which continues to be an important axis of development for HOPSCOTCH.
Many projects could support this trend for the coming quarters: the Paris Motor Show, the imminence of the Rugby World Cup, and the preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris which will lead to a progressive dynamic in our activities.
In addition, the financial structure remains solid with a net financial situation which remains at a largely positive level.
As a reminder, the group plans a transfer to Euronext Growth in 2022, in particular to support a policy of active growth and diversification.
HOPSCOTCH Groupe will publish its revenue for the 2nd quarter of 2022 on August 2, 2022, after the markets close.
