(CercleFinance.com) – Rothschild & Co publishes total non-IFRS revenues of 684 ME for the 1st quarter of 2022, up 7% compared to the same period a year earlier.
Business grew by 5% in Financial Advisory (413.5 ME) and by 27% in Private Banking and Asset Management (170.1 ME). On the other hand, it fell by 8% in Merchant Banking (95.5 ME) and by 2% in the other businesses and central functions.
Our three businesses posted solid performances, despite increasing levels of uncertainty linked to the current macroeconomic environment. The clear long-term strategies of each trade allow us to be optimistic about a solid performance during the course of 2022, but subject to the evolution of geopolitical events and the evolution of market conditions during the year, notes the bank.
