Grill den Henssler: Autumn season appears at the end of October

"Grill den Henssler" returns to the TV screen at the end of October. The seven episodes have some news.

Steffen Henssler (48) will return this autumn with "Grill den Henssler" (also via TVNow): From October 25th, the professional chef will again compete against prominent amateur chefs on Sundays at 8:15 pm. VOX has now announced this in a message. The season has some novelties to offer.

With Roman Weidenfeller (40), a soccer world champion will be behind the stove in the cooking show for the first time. Other prominent candidates are comedian Dieter Nuhr (59), musician Götz Alsmann (63), the singing duo Marianne (67) and Michael (71), presenter Oliver Pocher (42), his pregnant wife Amira (28) and Pocher's ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (37). A surprise guest is also waiting for "Grill den Henssler" presenter Laura Wontorra (31): her father Jörg Wontorra (71). At the end of the season it will be Christmassy: In "Grill den Henssler – The Christmas Menu", Nikolaus (December 6th) will face "Let's Dance" juror Joachim Llambi (56) and presenters Laura Karasek (38) and Sonja Zietlow (52) .

Injury thwarted his plans

Steffen Henssler will also be put to a tough test in the coming season: After a sports injury, he has to get support in his kitchen for the first time. As RTL recently reported, the star chef "injured himself playing sports in the morning before the third episode of the 'Grill den Henssler' autumn season was recorded." During the dessert round, he finally left the show to receive medical care. Reality TV star Detlef Steves (51) stood in for him.

After two seasons without an audience, there will be spectators again in the "Grill den Henssler" autumn season subject to strict hygiene requirements. Reiner Calmund (71), Mirja Boes (49) and "restaurant tester" Christian Rach (63) form the jury again.
