Societe Generale will raise 16 ME from its employees at 18.47 euros per share

(Boursier.com) — Societe Generale launches a new global employee shareholding plan allowing eligible employees and former retired employees of the Group to subscribe to a capital increase reserved for them under preferential conditions.

The overall maximum nominal amount of the capital increase is set at 16 million euros corresponding to the issue of 12,800,000 shares to be subscribed in cash.

The subscription price is 18.47 euros. It is equal to the average of the Societe Generale share closing prices recorded on Euronext Paris during the 20 trading sessions preceding May 17, less a 20% discount.

The subscription period for the share offering runs from May 25 inclusive (at 10 a.m.) to June 8 inclusive (at 11:59 p.m.).

The settlement-delivery of the shares is expected to take place on July 20, 2022.

Details that these shares held directly by the Beneficiaries and the units of company mutual funds, as the case may be, will be unavailable for a period of 5 years, except in the event of early release.
