Historic surge in producer prices in Germany…
(Boursier.com) — Historic surge in producer prices in Germany. According to data from the Federal Statistical Office, prices soared 33.5% in April after rising 30.9% in March. The consensus was positioned at +31.5%. Sequentially, the increase stands at 2.8%. The main culprit for the rise in producer prices compared to April 2021 is once again the surge in energy prices, says Destatis.
