this song responds perfectly to men who complain

For the enemies of feminism, it is clear: today, we can no longer "love men", for whom the period would be really complicated. On Instagram, an American responds with song and humor. The hit of the fall!

The song was released in October 2018, but remains terribly relevant two years later: "Scary Time for Boys" by American Lynzy Lab Stewart. At the time, Donald Trump was reacting to a rape case involving US Supreme Court judge Brett Kavanaugh. The President of the United States thus declares that society is going through a "Terrifying times for young men in America, when you are told guilty of something that you may not be guilty of".

What does the song say? What a terrible time for the boys, who "can't look women in the eye anymore like it's disturbing, is this rape or am i just nice?" She denounces jumble in the refrains sexual harassment, the culture of rape and the ambient misogyny. The verses list all the activities that become more complicated as a woman: taking public transport, putting on a miniskirt, having a drink until late …

A timeless hit … and international

We can only love the humor and biting irony of the young woman, who denounces a masculinist victimization discourse, refusing to question herself and to think about the consequences of their actions. Lynzy ends on a very galvanizing note, calling for revolt: "It's time to stand up and use our collective voice" she said, calling for a vote. A song that seems to have not aged a bit on the eve of another US election. The young woman, who is a dancer, choreographer and teacher at Texas State University, also created a choreography about the Me Too movement.

These voices rising against a supposed feminist retribution, which would bypass justice, trample the presumption of innocence, but also censor speech and creation, remind you of anything? This ritornello is also heard unfortunately in France, where men accused of rape reach high political positions, where filmmakers and actors accused of sexual assault or rape are praised by the community, while women proclaim loud and clear than feminists "are women who don't like men" , and "are the cause of very serious collateral damage". Scary time for girls!
So, to remain hopeful, we will listen to Linzy's new titles, denouncing in particular women who claim to be feminists while criticizing the outfits and attitudes of other women.
