Villepinte, July 5, 2022
DRONE VOLT, expert in embedded artificial intelligence and manufacturer of professional civilian drones, announces that it has obtained an Innovation Loan of 2.5 million euros granted by Bpifrance.
The purpose of this financing is to support the group’s R&D efforts. The Innovation Loan is reserved for SMEs and small ETIs created for more than three years, developing and/or marketing a new product, process or service and who can justify an innovation, in particular by significant R&D expenditure. It strengthens the company’s cash flow in order to finance all the intangible expenses necessary for the industrialization and marketing of new innovative offers.
In detail, the loan will be spread over the next 7 years with 2 years of grace (until September 2024) with an interest rate of 4.30%. This loan is backed by the Pan-European Guarantee Fund (EGF Guarantee Instrument), implemented by the European Investment Fund (EIF) with the financial support of the Member States contributing to this guarantee fund. The part of the financing guaranteed by the Pan-European Guarantee Fund constitutes State aid. No security is imposed on the company’s assets.
This loan allows DRONE VOLT to diversify its sources of financing, to amortize repayments over a long period, without dilution for shareholders.
“We are pleased with the trust granted by Bpifrance, which recognizes on this occasion the innovative nature of DRONE VOLT. »
says Marc Courcelle, Managing Director of DRONE VOLT.
“This loan will help support our investments in development, industrialization and marketing and diversify our sources of non-dilutive financing. »
