It will have taken some time, but Digimon Survive was therefore released this Friday, July 29, 2022 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Necessarily, bandai namco take the opportunity to broadcast a launch trailer with French subtitles, which mainly focuses on the side visual novel adventure rather than its strategic turn-based battles on squared terrain with the companions of our characters. What is certain is that the dark and horrifying tone makes itself felt, with an omnipresence in the dialogues of the term “kemonogami”.
If you need a refresher shot, here’s the synopsis shared by the publisher:
Digimon Survive takes players through a mysterious world filled with dangerous monsters and deadly battles that will test their ability to survive. By stepping into the shoes of protagonist Takuma Momozuka, players will have the ability to directly influence the outcome of their adventure, including how their Digimon evolve, how they bond with NPCs, and more.
On the other hand, if you intend to get it, you will have to be satisfied with the digital format or go through the import, since the publisher has once again put France aside by not releasing any physical edition on our territory (the German version has however texts in French on the back of the box…). Gamesplanet offers it in particular to 42.49, € on PC in its one-month launch edition therefore including until August 30 bonus items and Gilmon.
