A new leak reveals the performance of the processor Strongest Raptor Lake on Stardock video game.
Almost a month ago, a smart guy published the first measurements of an Intel Core i9-13900K processor. The Raptor Lake was then confronted with various application tests and video games.
43% faster than a Ryzen 9 5950X
Today, nothing truly stunning, but we kind of drive the point home with this result published on the databases ofAshes of the Singularitythe Stardock game.
According to our colleagues, in this case it would be a final version of the processor and not an engineering sample. The CPU remains a 24-core/32 model threads capable of 5.5 GHz boost on all cores, with 68 MB of L2+L3 cache and with a PL1 limited to 250 W.
For this test, it was associated with a Radeon RX 6900 XT card and 32 GB of RAM. A configuration that has been tested with the maximum level of detail (“ crazy ”) and a definition of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels to achieve a framerate of 204.7 frames per second.
The result is 24% higher than that of a Core i9-12900K (165.3 fps under the same conditions). While waiting for the Ryzen 7000s, the Raptor Lake has been compared to Ryzen 5000s: it is 43% faster than the Ryzen 9 5950X (143.5 fps) and 68% faster than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D (121.4 fps) .
Obviously, the importance of such a result should not be exaggerated, but let’s say that while waiting for the first complete tests carried out in “certain” conditions, it adds a little spice to the Raphael/Raptor Lake duel that is looming.
