New rumors confirm the remarkable performance of the generation of graphics cards NVIDIA’s RTX 4000.
Obviously keep a cool head since all this is still only a rumor, the GeForce RTX 400 has not even been formalized by NVIDIA yet. Still, such performances are impressive.
20,192 points on 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme
More than a year ago, the first rumors about the architecture of the GeForce RTX 4090 hinted at 100% more power than the RTX 3090. Last July, a first leak more or less confirmed this .
The RTX 4090 then scored more than 19,000 points on 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme. A score which would however be lower than the reality if we are to believe the latest leaks. Indeed, today we are talking about 20,192 points on the famous benchmark.
A result that would place NVIDIA’s future flagship far, far ahead of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti (+78%) and we’re not even talking about the RTX 3090, completely dropped (+90%).
Frequency of 3 GHz… and 55°C!
While such performance is impressive, today’s leak highlights a perhaps even more interesting point: the question of GPU frequencies and temperatures.
According to the author of the leak on the forums Chiphell, the AD102-300 reaches 3015 MHz, a particularly high frequency for a GPU. Better, while the temperature was 30°C, the NVIDIA chip would not exceed 55°C by much.
Also according to this person, the temperature was measured while the board only had a fan-based cooler, even though the heatsink is ” very imposing “and would not fit” in medium towers “.
Finally, it is specified that the GeForce RTX 4090 could be limited to a TDP of 450 Watts. Of course, we hope that NVIDIA will clarify all this during its GeForce Beyond on September 20.
