BVB vs. Bayern: In addition to the regular broadcast, Sky also shows the game of the year in an additional live feed especially for children. It has never existed in this form before.
- On October 8th, the Bundesliga classic BVB – Bayern will rise.
- Sky broadcasts the game as usual, but also offers a live broadcast for children.
- The cooperation with the DFL is a novelty.
Sky has come up with something: the pay-TV provider will broadcast the top game in the Bundesliga between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich as a live production specially designed for children, in addition to the regular broadcast.
According to Sky, the Bundesliga classic on October 8 is the first live sports broadcast in Germany specifically aimed at children. From 5.45 p.m., the game BVB – Bayern will run as a separate feed on Sky Sport Bundesliga 3 in addition to the classic live broadcast. The pre-match show will also be presented in a new style. Kick-off is then at 6.30 p.m.
This is specially planned for the kids
As part of the coverage of the top game, there will be many child-friendly sections and two child reporters who are allowed to interview the players and officials of the two teams will be used. In addition, the additional live stream is garnished with new graphic elements.
The “Sky Next Generation” experiment, a live production specially designed for children, is being realized by Sky Deutschland in close cooperation with the DFL.
It’s kind of reminiscent of the Nickelodeon live broadcasts from the NFL. Incidentally, the Bundesliga recently entered into a partnership with the North American Football League.
