Airbus: agreement with Dassault Aviation for the combat aircraft

(CercleFinance.com) – Eric Trappier, CEO of Dassault Aviation, announced in an interview published by Le Figaro this Thursday, November 1, that he had reached an industrial agreement with Airbus on the next-generation combat aircraft (NGF), an essential component of FCAS.

‘ The SCAF is a political project launched by President Emmanuel Macron and Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2017, and stopped since the summer of 2021. So, yes, today it is done. We have an agreement with Airbus,’ Eric Trappier said in a press release.

“Being the architect of a new combat aircraft is very motivating for our company, our teams, those of Airbus our main partner, of Indra and of our historical partners, Safran, Thales and MBDA”, declared Eric Trapper.
