Luca de Meo had announced it, Renault intends to strengthen its offer in the segment of compact models. Thus, after the electric Mégane E-Tech launched at the start of the year, here is the Austral, an SUV which replaces the Kadjar in the Renault range. It is a question of finally being able to compete with the reference of the segment on the French market, the Peugeot 3008.
To achieve this, the Austral, which measures 4.51 m in length – 6 cm longer than the 3008 – was developed on a new platform shared with Nissan.
