The kick-off is given on May 6, 2023. The festivities will take place over three days. On the first day, the King and Queen consort will travel to Westminster Abbey from Buckingham. The ceremony will be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the spiritual leader of the Anglican Church. Once “The King’s Procession” finished, they will return to the palace. There, they will take their place on the mythical balcony in the company of active family members to greet the crowd.

May 7, 2023 will be more festive than the day before. At Windsor Castle, west London, the King and Queen consort will surround themselves “international music icons and contemporary stars” for a concert that is meant to be magical. The show will also be transcribed on the BBC.. For the time being, the names of the invited artists have not been communicated, but we know that they will also be supported by volunteers from charities supported by Charles and Camilla. The royal couple want this day to be the day “coronation”but also an opportunity “to celebrate friendship”, encouraging the people to find themselves among neighbors. Guests: Which people are invited to the coronation of the monarch?

After 74 years of waiting, Charles III had time to think about the organization of his coronation down to the smallest detail. If the Queen had dreamed big during her coronation by inviting nearly 8,000 people, his son limited himself to 3,000. A number already quite large and difficult to manage for the organizers, since Westminster Abbey can only accommodate 2,200 guests. Don’t panic all the same,Express UK reveals that “800 more seats could be added in the medieval galleries”. This list, however reduced, will require making choices, in particular with regard to the political sphere, specifies the newspaper. Regarding the names of the guests known to date, we know that all members of the royal family were invited, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle too. For the time being, we do not know if they will respond to the event.
