Butter lumps are currently recalled throughout France because of the presence of a bacterium dangerous to health: Listeria.

The international article code corresponds to 3701002403598. All batches whose expiry date is April 17, 2023 are affected by this recall. Marketed between February 21 and March 15, 2023 in supermarkets Grands Frais, Fresh and Mon Marché of the whole of France, these batches must absolutely not be consumed because of the presence of the bacterium Listeria monocytogenesresponsible for listeriosis, a disease with an incubation period of up to eight weeks. In pregnant women, it can lead to neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage.
