According to the data presented, the fatal blows are "predominantly male (88%), most often married, of French nationality, aged 30 to 49, and no longer or no longer exercising a professional activity."

Crimes are carried out with a knife or a firearm. And in 17% of cases, death is the result of strangulation, suffocation or suffocation. The setting is generally the couple's home or the victim's place of life.
