In November 2022, the series Plus belle la vie came to an abrupt end after 17 seasons of broadcast. Faced with a considerable drop in audiences, the production of the series had in fact made the decision to stop filming, to the great misfortune of fans. A few months ago, they had the joy of learning that the channel TF1 expressed the wish to relaunch the series in January 2024.
And if the project looked promising, the casting today seems to pose a problem, particularly because a major part of the emblematic actors will not be there. On October 2, Pierre Martot, who played captain Léo Castelli since the very first season, announced that he would not be in the game. And today it is the turn of another actor to decline the invitation.

Florian Lesieur, who has played the character of Noé Ruiz since 2020, has decided not to return for the reboot of the series on TF1. If the actor seemed proud to have been very present in the last two seasons of the program, he will no longer be able to honor his role, in particular because of his busy schedule.
“I won’t repeat it, it’s a bit dry, but there you go […] it’s just that I have a lot of projects that fell through, particularly for cinema, two feature films […] another period series. I won’t be able to take back Plus belle la vie” did he declare. We note that the actor had already mentioned his desire to leave the series even before it ended in November 2022.
