A 2-year-old ordered 31 burgers at McDonald’s with his mother’s smartphone

A 2-year-old child ordered 31 hamburgers at McDonald’s through the Doordash delivery service. The toddler used his mother’s smartphone to satisfy his cravings.

Busy on her computer, an American mother has left his smartphone to his 2 year old child, report our colleagues from CNN. The young woman explains that the toddler loves to play with the phone’s camera, rather than playing mobile games. “He likes to look at his reflection”underlines the resident of Texas.

Under these conditions, she does not hesitate to lend her smartphone to her son from time to time. But this time, the toddler was not content to admire his reflection. After retrieving her phone, the young mother received a notification that his DoorDash order would take longer than usual to be delivered. Like UberEats or TakeAway, Doordash is a company specializing in home delivery of meals.

He orders $91 worth of burgers from McDonald’s without his mother’s knowledge

Asked by CNN, she explains that she sometimes relies on Doordash to deliver her children’s lunch at school. That day, however, she had prepared the meals for her toddlers herself. A car then approached his house. A delivery man carrying a huge bag flanked by the McDonald’s logo got out of the vehicle. The bag contained an order of 32 burgers for a total amount of $91.

Initially, she simply said to herself that the delivery man had gone to the wrong house. At his insistence, she recalled that her son had recently played with his smartphone. “I went back and looked at my phone and an order was placed as he was playing with my phone. I thought to myself, oh my God, he had really done that”, explains the mother, surprised by her son’s initiative. The toddler also left a generous tip equivalent to 25% of the total order.

Unsurprisingly, the young woman did not really know what to do with the burgers ordered, because no one in the family “don’t like the cheeseburgers”. She then decided togive away the burgers by posting an ad on Facebook. Several people came to pick up the food at his home. It is not the first time that a starving child has ordered food without his parents knowing. Last month, we brought you the story of a 4-year-old child who ordered over $100 on UberEats.
