The Fallout series has just made an announcement that will please those who are impatiently waiting for it. We will soon have news of the Prime Video adaptation.
In recent years, we have seen a certain number of series and films that adapt video games or anime into live action. It’s a risky gamble, and it doesn’t always pay off. Except when it’s called One Piece or The Last of Us. All eyes are now on the Fallout series. Amazon Prime Video will try to offer us a new version of the Bethesda franchise, and we can’t wait to see the result. Moreover, it will soon be possible to see the adaptation again in the spotlight.
Prime Video’s Fallout series is coming back soon
Like all video game adaptations, many fears have been heard. However, it is clear that Prime Video has not skimped on resources. For Fallout, the platform granted a colossal budget, and a cast worthy of the name. As for the first images that had leaked, they succeeded in giving fans of the license confidence. The game universe seems to respect, and that’s nice to see. Now, we are entitled to wonder about the next time we will see the series in the spotlight again. Obviously it’s going to happen next week.
Indeed, we are told that Fallout Prime Video will be present at CCXP 2023, on December 2. For information, this is a Brazilian convention held in San Diego. There, different universes intersect, such as that of comics, literature, series and video games. In short, it’s the ideal place to make a big announcement, and that’s what the adaptation of Fallout seems to be preparing for. Headliners Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins will be there to talk about it alongside co-creator Jonathan Nolan (Westworld).
And so, will there be a new trailer to panic the community? For the moment, it’s difficult to know. However, it would be surprising to come and discuss the Fallout series without showing new images. Plus, the release date is approaching, well almost. Yes, the SVOD platform revealed it on the 26the anniversary of the franchise. It will be available on Prime Video on April 12, 2024. As a reminder, the plot will take place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, and will revolve around Vault 33. You will no doubt have understood, this is not a transposition of the scenario of one of Fallout. On the other hand, the events will be canonical to the games.
