Apple has just lifted the veil on the date of its next highly anticipated event: May 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Announced with a captivating invitation that features a colorful apple and an Apple Pencil, this event, titled Let Loose, promises big announcements regarding the range of its iPad tablets.
The Let Loose theme suggests a focus on creativity and free expression, aligned with the traditional use of the iPad as a tool for creators. The inclusion of the Apple Pencil in the invitation’s artwork reinforces this idea, hinting at the arrival of improved features for drawing, graphic design, and perhaps even new interactive capabilities.
What can we expect?
Recent leaks and rumors surrounding the sixth generation of the iPad Air indicate that two models are in development. Codenamed J507 and J537. The first model would retain the current dimensions of the iPad Air. While the second would offer a larger 12.9-inch screen. These new iPad Airs should integrate the M2 chip, offering increased performance, as well as the latest Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The design changes would not be radical but would include a redesigned photo module. Featuring an updated aesthetic that recalls some developments already seen on the iPhone.
