a big patch with a very nice surprise

With its recent launch, Ubisoft’s Xdefiant continues to improve, including the addition of a community-requested mode as well as small improvements.

Online shooter XDefiant receives its first pre-season update, with several notable fixes and improvements. Scheduled to be deployed today with a one-hour downtime, this update aims to optimize the player experience. Enough to bring back into the game a mode that is highly requested by players. What do we know?

XDefiant pleases

One of the main new features of this XDefiant update is the reintroduction of the Training Zone. Initially available during preliminary testing, this feature disappeared when the game launched this week. The Training Zone allows players to test various combinations of weapons and attachments, try out abilities and ultras on target dummies, and become familiar with the game’s controls through an assault course. So it’s very useful when you’re starting out.

Fixes and improvements

  • Game Modes XDefiant : A bug that caused players to appear outside the map when entering the Training Area has been fixed.
  • Devices : An error that caused devices to fall at players’ feet after deployment, if they died during the animation, has been corrected.
  • Netcode : An issue related to the display of enemy health bars has been resolved. Players will now see the correct health bars after dealing damage.
  • Location : A fix has been made for the display of end-of-match text in Arabic, which appeared with the wrong orientation.
  • Miscellaneous : Adjustments have been made to resolve low refresh rate issues on some AMD graphics cards. The Training Area is once again active, although anomalies may still occur.

This update marks a significant step forward for XDefiant in terms of stability and gameplay, while providing players with a valuable tool to perfect their skills and strategies. The developers are clearly listening to player feedback to continue improving the gaming experience.
