New game on trial with Nintendo Switch Online
The April 2024 “free” game is now available for subscribers. The Japanese publisher is indeed offering Nintendo Switch Online subscribers the opportunity to discover the latest installment of a license that is particularly popular in Japan. JRPG lovers and service members, you can test Eiyuden Chronicle Rising now. As always, you will have access to all of its content, without any restrictions, until Thursday April 18, 2024.
A sort of prequel to Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, which will be released on April 23 for the Nintendo Switch and its competitors, Rising is a pure 2D action RPG. You play several heroes who will try to earn a living in a most hostile world as they try to uncover the secrets hidden beneath their small village. Particularly appreciated by fans of the genre thanks to its shimmering artistic direction, its dynamic and nervous gameplay, its city reconstruction mechanics and its enchanting universe and its story which manages to keep players in suspense. An unmissable if you want to watch the upcoming episode, since you will even find characters from Hundred Heroes.
To download it for free via Nintendo Switch Online, simply go to the game’s official page, either directly via the manufacturer’s website or from your console. From there, a button will prompt you to “Download the game for trial,” and that’s it.
