Hiro Mashima signed its greatest success with the manga Fairy Tail. In 63 volumes (+1), the adventures of Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Happy, Gray and their guild mates have fascinated millions of readers and spectators around the world.

Therefore, its direct sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, is also highly anticipated in anime. The adaptation is due to arrive on our screens this summer. And it turns out that it will be entitled to an unexpected launch with fanfare. If you are a fan, you will like the news.

DNA has some great news for Fairy Tail fans

Yesterday marked the 7th anniversary of the film Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry, the second film in the franchise. Riding on this anniversary, the French broadcaster DNA made a very special announcement. The SVOD platform intends to put in place the means for the greatest pleasure of fans thanks to a partnership with cinemas CGR.

Thus, the first three episodes of the new anime Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be entitled to an exceptional broadcast in movie theater. They will be screened in CGR cinemas on June 22 and 23, 2024in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday May 30, at 4 p.m., on the official CGR website. However, it is still unclear whether the screening of the three episodes will take place only in capitals and large cities. But, given other events of this kind, we can expect it to be widespread in the provinces.

Furthermore, this initiative is reminiscent of the theatrical release of Demon Slayer in early 2024. The reception, however, was mixed. But, there shouldn’t be any bad surprises with Fairy Tail.
